Q&A

I am frequently asked ‘Gloria if there is one product ONLY
you could keep, what would it be?’ Then my mind goes Magnecore Discs? Magneton?
Mattress Pad? Magneton? Mattress Pad.. and so on, back and forth – turmoil! But
at the end of the day, it would have to come down to the Mattress Pad. Since I
have been on it apart from the problem I found magnet therapy with (my knees)
in the 15 years since I started with magnets nothing else seem to have
deteriorated. My back – the same.
Shoulders/Neck - the same. Can I say it’s definitely due to my still as good as new
magnetic wonder pad, No. but no-one is taking that treasure from me. How’s my
immune system- fantastic! No colds or flu and above all no injections. Gloria Q. “There’s nothing
really wrong with me, why do I need magnet therapy” A. Well the answer is pretty simple. In today’s world I bet
you do not consistently work outside, sleep in a tent or wooden shack or live
the type of life we evolved to be happiest (and fittest) in. Concrete
buildings, cars, the underground, planes and household electrical smog have all
happened in the last hundred or so years and as yet our bodies have not caught
up to the physical impact this has on our systems, even with better diets and
healthcare we all are under par. The estimate is, about 40% under par. Adding
therapeutic magnets to your body is the best way to combat MFDS (magnetic field
deficiency syndrome). If nothing else
hurts – JUST WEAR A BRACELET. Job done. Gloria |
Magnet Therapy and the establishment.

Hi There have been numerous studies, on "Does Magnet Therapy work" Well I don`t know about you, but I am getting fed up with all the negative comments. Let`s be honest the last thing the Medical Profession want is a positive spin on Complimentary medicine . We have numerous Testimonies from people that "Magnet Therapy" does help their situation, they feel much better after using an appliance or wearing a magnetic aid. Like everything in life it does not work for everybody, but it is a safe way to find out if it is right for you. If you are in chronic pain and conventional medicine or therapy has not improved your pain, then is it not worth giving it a try? Magnet Therapy is not a new "Fad", it has been around since 3000 bc, and the Chinese used it around 2000 bc, they still use it today in conjunction with acupuncture. Gloria Vergari is a well respected person within the Complimentary business and has been featured for many years on T.V I would love to hear from you and answer any questions you may have. Magnetised Water and Oils

A question from James Can I magnetise my Jojoba oil? Dear James Thank you
for your inquiry. I do magnetise my oils and creams. After a lot of research many companies are now
beginning to sell ‘energised’ products. Indeed one really expensive company
sells a face cream for £120 which has a minute magnet in the top of the jar and
as the cream passes the top ‘ whoops’ it’s magnetised. That is a
bit of a leap for me. The easiest way is to have a Magnetic Coaster in the
house and simply place your products on it for 20 minutes. The water / cream /
oil will then be magnetised. What we find and you can see is that once
magnetise the product will become slightly more fluid and more easily absorbed
by the cells. I am told by long distance runners that they stay hydrated longer
when using magnetised water/energy drinks, and gardeners tell me their plants
and vegetables benefit. They see the difference in one Grow Bag using natural
water as against the second Grow Bag using magnetised. So by all
means – magnetise your Jojoba oil, baby oil, massage oil and most importantly
your drinking water. I keep a
coaster in my bathroom and one in my kitchen, but at least keep one somewhere. Once
magnetised the product will stay magnetised indefinitely, but I give my creams
a ‘boost’ once a month. **
2 places on earth with higher magnetic contents in the environment and
their water? - Sedona, Arizona in the USA and Lourdes
in France!! Hope that helps, Take care Gloria |
Magnets and Hair Loss?

My reply to today's question.
Can magnets
help hair loss? That is a
good question, and in all honesty the answer is that there is not enough
evidence as yet to show we can regenerate new growth. We CAN say that if the
hair follicles are still ‘alive’ and functioning, we can encourage their
ability to remain active and hopefully slow the process of hair loss. We can
see that anyone using a good magnetic product over a long enough period will
see their hair condition improve and grow faster than normal. Over the years I
have had many women complaining that since they have been on magnets, they have
to have their roots re-tinted every four weeks instead of every six weeks! To encourage
the hair you have to be strengthened and sustained as long as possible I would
recommend simply placing our magnetic pillow pad inside your pillow case (on
top of the pillow). In this way you would be getting a good 6 to 8 hours
treatment per night. With no
effort on your part. Your skin,
and nails should also improve over the following few months and you naturally
will get a better nights sleep, so it should be a win-win situation. As for the
Magneton, that is primarily for headaches, pain relief and soft tissue injury.
It is an incredible machine, far more effective than a Ten or Ultrasound, but
for hair loss you would have to use it three times a day for 5 minutes per
session. Really, the Pillow Pad is your best bet. I hope that

Finger & Hand Pain

Today Janet wrote: Can magnets help with pain in my fingers? My reply: Hello
Janet Obviously fingers are difficult
places to work, and just sometimes if the pain / arthritis is not acute, wearing
a powerful magnetic bracelet (north pole only) will help.
However, if
the pain is severe the best and most successful treatment is to wear the
Magnecore discs taped as close to the area of pain as you can get. This can be
difficult – knives and forks may want to stick…. But even taping them to the
back of the hand in the region where the blood and nerves run down to the
fingers, will bring considerable relief. Then, you
can of course, always just use them at bedtime. The Magnecore
Set are classed as permanent magnets and can then be used by the whole family on
the body whenever you pull or sprain a muscle, have arthritis or bruise
yourself. I hope that
helps, Gloria |
Migraine and The Magneton

Today I received the following question from someone who read about The Magneton on the internet. Gloria, will The Magneton help with migraine and headaches? My reply: I have been told by many of our migraine sufferers that
The Magneton is really a great help to them. Some who suffer from cluster
headaches when they wake up in the morning, simply keep it by their bed and before
they get up, just use it for 4 to 5 minutes. Others use it to relax for 5
minutes when they have an attack. Just close your eyes and use it on level One.
Use gently slow sweeping movements around the face and over the top of the head,
about four inches away from the head (you do not need to touch your body), it
is just as effective and remember, it is the pulsed magnetic waves that are
doing the work. Not the vibration, that is actually just cosmetic we build it into the unit so customers can 'feel' something happening. And of course it does feel
nice on the larger 'softer' areas such as legs, arms, back and shoulder. I hope that helps Gloria |
EMF's (the bad) V Our Magnetic Fields (the good)

Hi guys thank you so much for the kind comments we are receiving from you. I will now try and blog, more frequently, now I understand there are really people 'out there'. Elaine, recently asked what is the difference in the magnets that are used in our wraps and products and the EMF's (electro-magnetic fields) that are not good for us. Here is the easy answer from Val, our head therapist. Hi Elaine Yes, I agree it is very confusing that two very similar energies are
reported to have very different effects. One theory is that magnet energy, being
made from natural Earth magnets are healthy to humans as we have evolved with
these frequencies. However, what we call EMF radiation, is man made and a much
higher frequency, which many reports state is damaging. Put simply, it
is possibly the frequency of the energies which appear to give the different
results. Regards Val Magnet Therapist |
How long do the magnets last?

Kerry recently wrote to me on behalf of his mother who is getting relief from our magnets from the pain in her back caused by arthritis and nerve damage. He asked "Do the magnets wear out?" His mother heard that they do. Well the answer is No! At least not the ones we use. We power our magnets up to a very high gauss rating and they will them hold this power, indefinitely. The neoprene wraps might well go before the magnets. Maybe Kerry's mother had heard of the little weenie plaster type magnets that are as big as a pin head. They do wear out after just a few days. Not the same thing at all and the penetration into the skin is no more than a 'wobble' You need to buy reliable high grade magnets to see how effective this treatment can be. Take care Gloria |
Arthrits Pain

It just gets worse in the cold weather doesn't it? The knees don't
bend and the back stiffens up. I know - as an aging, creaky old dancer,
skier and aerobics fanatic the wear and tear takes its toll. Whilst
there is nothing we can do about the degenerating bone structure, magnet
therapy can help ease the pain and keep the areas warm either with the
supporting wrap, or just with the Magnecore discs bringing extra blood
flow to the areas and getting rid of some of the toxins and debris at
the site. Also - please believe me, a five minute gentle warm up first
thing - before you go downstairs and start your day, will be so
worthwhile. Just gently, flail around in the bathroom for a few minutes, getting
the knees bending and the limbs, trunk and head and neck moving; it is
so worthwhile. Gently - that's the key word. Just to get the blood
warming in the areas. And thank you all for your kind comments Take care and enjoy the holidays. Gloria Write your post here. |

THE BACK WRAP
Why did i call it the Back Wrap? I must have been half sleep. It is sooo much more than that. It should be called the BODY Wrap or the TORSO Wrap because it does all that, and judging by your comments you guys worked it out all by yourselves. Have had comments from those of you with hip pain, shoulder pain and of course the dreaded Sciatica! I am so glad we are helping. Make sure you buy a wrap with a large enough wrap-over so you can move it from mid back to upper back to hips and over the bum-bum. Our next show on Ideal World - 2pm & 5pm Thursday 15th. That is the last I.W. until after Christmas. |
